Darrell Hay Hockey Development was created with the goal of providing a professional hockey experience at the amateur level. We believe that access to top level coaching should be available to everyone.
The Kamloops B.C. native, and 1999 NHL draft pick by the Vancouver Canucks, spoke about his vision for hockey in the Treasure Valley.
“I have 2 young sons who I want to experience hockey the same way I did. To have every opportunity to chase their NHL dreams with the best possible coaching and development plan in place to follow. I want every parent to have that access to a professional teacher and know their investment will receive incredible value.”
The two time Kelly Cup champion was inspired to build his namesake company to fulfill a dream.
“I want nothing more than to give back to the hockey community that supported me during my 5 seasons in Boise. To be able to play a part in the first NHL draft pick or the first NHL player from the Treasure Valley would be a dream come true. We have an amazing community ready to take the next step. I want to lead that movement.”
Hay and his wife Casey are dedicated to developing the next generation of future hockey heroes here in Idaho. Their passion is to provide an exciting, affordable, & safe environment for our youth to experience the wonderful world of team sports.
